Wikipedia only has a small article about this group. Anti-government folk who ended up in a siege-type situation with the feds in 1996. Everything ended peacefully, and supposedly was because of the feds' learning their lesson from Waco.

Anyone have any more information about these guys and their incident?

They went to prison for bank robbery IIRC. They were just a bunch of armed robbers.

Just found this lovely tidbit about them:

In addition to maintaining they are not subject to federal or state laws, the Freemen also claimed that God intended white people to rule the Earth, that blacks are animals and Jews are descendants of Satan.

Change the "colors" around a little bit and they sound just like Louis Farrakhan.
