coke and pepsi with lime/lemon--YUCK!

the maclean hamburger

the pancetta sandwich

wow chips with olestra

pepsi clear

new coke (PR disaster, but great if the intent was to drum up interest in 'classic' coke)

New Coke which resulted in the Old Coke being called Coke Classic

On a whim I tried this product, seemed a good idea at the time but ended up sucking ass:

Thomas's bagel bread

That's about as tasteless as an ad for pneumatic nailers on Good Friday.

Any food product that has the phrase "anal leakage" joined to its name in the mind of the public is fighting an uphill battle for sales.

So would my "Tampax bloody mary mix" ad be too much to post?

Here is another -

I can't forget these!

They had some guy jumping over hurdles and lifting heavy stuff in the tv commercial, so I had mom drive me to the store to get some

I like regular bagels, cream cheese, this stuff was like week old bread that's dried up and got hard.  I went back to the squishy white gooey Wonder Bread!

Miller Clear - it wasn't a failure the 3 test markets it was introduced into prevented a national roll out.

Miller Clear - yes a clear beer

Prego and Barilla Pasta Bake sauces, I guess they weren't worth the difference in price over regular sauces.  Although they sure made an easy dinner for a bunch of teenage boys.

screwball cheese in the crust pizza crusts from Pizza Hut.

Jack in the Box - early quick service campaign, they were slowest because they fixed to order, once they started that, then the speed ws no longer an obvious BS gimmick.

Pizza delivery in 30 minutes or less.  The ad campaigns were successful, except all the drivers that had accidents trying to make it in time.
