This isn't a question but rather a suggestion on an approach to our society, which appears to be more visable than ever.  It is time for us to think as a nation and forget the Republican and or Democrat partisan turf wars.  The issues this nation faces are way larger and more immediate than whether or not Social Security will survive.  Call it a wake up, or just the interesting thoughts of a contemporary man.  Get politically involved with whatever party, and force both of them to deal with real issues rather than the politics of distraction which is unfortunately their stock and trade.  Forget your wallets as no individual is as important as the preservation of the American way of life.  It is slipping away.  The America you grew up thinking you would inherit is a myth at this point, you can be a part of it's ressurection though.  Let politicans know in no uncertain terms that We the People expect quality job performances from them.  Help find good canidates starting at the local level.  (Just be sure they are gun friendly  )

Sadly politics for most people is like football, they support a team, and root for them blindly the rest of their life. Independent thought and mental flexability flies out the window.
