The orange projectile is from Pulled Down M62 Tracer ammo. It is reloaded, as military ammo needs to be "demilled" before distibution to the general populus. Is the blue tip 7.62 as well? I am not familiar with it.

Blue tip is API isn't it? I only say this because IIRC, blue tip .50 BMG is API. But, I'm not aware that US arsenals made API 7.62mm NATO.

API huh? well i suppose i wont be needing to set something on fire that is behind armor plate anytime soon! but you never know i guess!!

Blue tip is incendiary. API will be aluminum over blue tipped.

Sorry for the confusion. The aluminum color is the tip, then a blue stripe below the colored tip.
