Why does a gas can have don't put near open flame on it or no smoking at gas sations. Someone must have done it.

Seriously, I learned the past week, the farther north you go, the more sign happy each state gets. Mile markers every tenth of a mile is kinda nice though. |

My wife is from TN and founds it hilarious that when you enter VA you are bombarded by all the signs - "welcome to Virgina", "speed limit is ##", "speed limit enforced by aircraft", "headlights must be on when using wipers", "seatbelts must be worn", and "radar detectors are illegal"

Pennsylvania used to be bad too. Right after the welcome to PA signs were the signs that detailed the fines for speeding. Tom Ridge had those removed shortly after he won the governorship. |
