Im just curious thinking of adding a new CCW gun, anyone Conceal carry the G21?
thanks! |
i AGREE i carried a fullsize 70 series colt gov for many moons. maybe I will go back to a fullsize thinkign about buying a g21 though. |
you're a braver man than I, which is why I stick to reliable handguns yes you can CCW a glock 21. |
Redhorseman, How dare you!!!!!!!!!!! |
my glock fu > your archaic 1911 curio |
I do it every day. I usually use a bellyband around my waist.
One day my holster will show up from Bulman. |
Brave? Not hardly. My Kimber Pro CDP II has been through a couple 3 day handgun courses, and thousands of rounds. I'll trust it with my life any day. |
Ahh I bet I could destroy you in some shooting competition with my custom 1911! |
That goes without saying. If the weapon you are competing with blows up in your hand, isnt that a disqualifier? |

With a good holster, yes.

...and away we go. |
Because never in the history of the world has a 1911 blown up. |

So is he the Smith to your Neo? |
oh I would smoke you my weak point is my M590 but me and my m4 and 1911 would put some hurt into you. |
specifically in handgun short of you running a full tilt nasty STI open class rig(and the ability to use it effectively), I would smoke you. I have no doubts. rifle I can hold my own as well. |
Ebony and Ivory Or in this case, Tupperware and Iron |
top shelf dishwasher safe for the win! |
how, he has 15 rounds, you have 8. if you watch a three-gun match, the 1911 guys are usually slower than those of equal skill with a modern firearm. |
A Galco SOB Holster works great on large frame handguns, specially with a 1911 and a G21. I have a Don Hume JIT Slide and I can conceal my G21 fairly good (as long as I wear a jacket or a 5.11 vest).
I've been thinking of selling my G21 and get a G30; I figure I can conceal a G30 better and still use the 13 round mags i have (5 in total). But is hard for me to actually sell my G21, it was my first gun purchase since i got back from the sandbox, so it has sentimental value. |
When you dont like real handguns, praise Glock! |
still waiting for the 1911 guys to equal big bore's glock 21 torture test |
Still waiting on bigbore's test to be relevant. I could do the same thing, and make a Hi-Point come out on top. Its all about presentation |
I'm running a 70 series colt government, Cylinder slide sear disconect, wilson trigger, beavertail, magwell novak sites the fucker has a 2 lb trigger pull and I run wilson 10rd mags. its a sweet setup! Dont get me wrong I like my g-19 but the colt is much faster and accurate |
have you even seen that thread? |
I think WWI, WWII, Korea and Vietnam go above and beyond that. |
yep. too many times. |
Only if I can tenniferize my toilet seat. |
Didn't you hear? They don't need to.
-Excerpt from the Book of Handgunning, Chapter 3 verses 5 and 6 |

somehow I think that soldiers took far better care of their weapons. and I havent seen anyone with a 1911 replicating the testing, especially the amount of shooting without cleaning and the sand/dirt testing edit: and document it |
G21 is concealable if you do it right. I'm 5'10", 125 lbs. and carry my 21 daily. I use a Wild Bill's Covert Carry Tuckable and a Galco Black Widow. With the right holster selection, anything is concealable.
holy crap dude, you need to eat something |
+1 get a couple of sammiches. |
NO.
Because I'm the only one professional enough to CCW a GL.. *BANG* |
yeah I weight like 70 lbs more! my GF weighs 120! |
