that thing weighs almost 8 pounds. If they're gonna spendthat kinda dough, why not get a real gun?
ETA: The most someone should spend on airsoft is about half the price of that. Before I was 18 I had an MP5 that shot pretty fast and was pretty nice, but it was only $300, and as soon as I turned 18, it was basically forgotten... |

I can see it now AP: California JBT shoot and kill 1 and wound another adult with Airsofts playing "Mercenary" San Diego, Ca, While "tpliquid" and his neighbor were playing with toys, 2 dozen SDPD Swat memebers convirged on the residents back yard, shooting the tpliquid 12 times in the chest. Neighbor, who wishes to be kept anonymous, says he took a round in the leg. "It was awful, they fire HUNDREDS of rounds, after killing tpliquid, I ran for cover and ducked behind teh kiddie pool. I am not sure why they didn't keep firing, maybe the life sized Barney blow up toy" said Neighbor. It all was a miscommunication between 911 operators and a concerned "hillary" suppoprter. "I saw to men chasing each other with assault rifles and hearing a clakity,clakity,clakity, like an automatic gun from the movies, I had no idae thay were toys. We should ban them, they look and sound real. This is going to happen more if we don't get our State Government ivolved in a ban" Neighbor is expecting to recover 100%, while Mr.tpliquid's services will be heald next week, after the autopsy. My friend has an SBR AR-15 style airsoft that's actually licensed by armalite. The quality is good, but obviously it's no substitute for the real thing. I just can't understand people's motivation for dressing up like army or marines and shooting EXPENSIVE toy guns at one another (guns that' can't shoot more than 35 yards!). There are even airsoft "snipers" that engage targets at close range. It's hilarious. |
