I have stuff shipped to me at school to avoid my mom-same difference. But in my EE experiences, I agree, lots of stuff Ive shipped at gone to people at work.

All of my cigars are shipped straight to my office. It's not that she doesn't need to know, it's more about not giving her the ammo to be a bitch about.

It gets sent to work because that's where I spend most of my time. I don't want to have to go to UPS to pick up all of my missed packages. Plus, picking those notices off the door gets old.

Yes, but my my boss made me stop after my mail order bride arrived. Apparently they shipped her by freight and she didn't ship well.

In the past, yes. For two reasons, one is sometimes I did not want the former Mrs to know and because I did not want packages sitting on front porch, back porch, driveway or a wherever for someone else to take.

A private mailbox from a Mailboxes Etc type place is great. My wife just about never gets the mail (she doesn't have the key), so I can pretty much have whatever sent there, and they hold it for me. Don't have to worry about it being stolen, no worries about co-workers seeing my stuff.

I never did it to hide stuff from the wife (I was single) but I used to have all my CMP orders delivered to my office. Luckily people there were cool with it.

If she doesn't know when I got it, or how much I spent, Wives have a tendancy to use that kind of stuff for ammo when it comes around to "me too" syndrome. The less she knows, the better.
Never had it shipped to work yet.......but if I had an office, I would probably be buying a lot more stuff. |

Jeez, if the wife does not stumble over some ammo box or package every few weeks, she thinks I am messing around on her and spending my gun money on a floozy. I HAVE to get something, see how that works?
She actually could care less, some spend their dough drinking, some on vehicles, some on strange pussy, I spend mine on gun related stuff. My hobby is probably safer then any of the others listed. |
