I'm anal about cold-bore shots.  Want to KNOW where they're going.  So storage lube for the bore is important to me.

CLP gives erratic first shot performance in my rifles.  Both stainless and chromemoly.  Some have written its because of the Teflon in the mixture.

I've tried Rem Oil, Militec, Tetra and several other super-lubes and they're just about the same.

Anybody got a favorite for final cleaning pass on the bore?

you can try regular clp if you want

not the breakfree stuff

the regular stuff doesn't have teflon

tetra has teflon too

i think rem oil does as well

militec doesn't, though

I'll use anything without teflon, but I also do a pass with a bore snake and some Shooter's Choice to clean the oil out of the bore before I fire the rifle.
