AWESOME.  I rented a place on 40 acres in Ouray county and LOVED it.  I wish I could still live there.  Those pics look very similar to the place I was at.

How much does something like that cost?  Can you IM me if it's something you would rather not post?

It's always much funnier when you explain the joke.

Here's my family's retreat cabin very near Mt Ouray outside of Salida.

Those places usually go for about $1000 an acre.

We have 160 acres up in South Park. I am going there tomorrow to shoot gophers.

Thats a wonderfull cabin. I used to go by Salida on my way to Gunnison for hunting season. I hope to retire on this property. I cant beleive this peice lasted last summer. The realtor said it was because it was at the end of the road and was secluded. Twist my arm!!!!!! Thats what we wanted. I hate neighbors & most people

Drop_Zone,
Welcome to the neighborhood.  If you come up to Cripple Creek stop by for a cup of cawfee, or an AK flat build, etc.

My parents bought some property recently, and it is out in the middle of nowhere...but there are 2 houses within a mile or two.  Pisses me off!  It's fine for hunting, but I supppose it might piss someone off if I spent 6 hours out there doing mag dumps

This area looks great for quail, hog, deer, and lots of small animals.  One problem.  My stepdad has no interest in hunting, and even though they aren't going to build there for years he wants to BURN AWAY ALL THE BRUSH!  He's going to ruin some good hunting land because he's insane!

It's funny because his whole family is buying land out in the middle of nowhere, and they are all what you would call "city folks".  Basically the ones that are buying are all nurses with rich husbands.  One of them let their dog run loose and it was attacked a by a buck.  What did the woman do?  She ran up and started hitting the buck!  Her husband went in the house and got a BB gun and started shooting it!  What a way to waste good land!

Hopefully by the time I can afford some property, all the good stuff wont be all gone.
