I can't stand to go to sleep dirty...unless I am sleeping outside.

I have trouble falling asleep if I have not had a shower.

I also just like to get up and go in the morning, rather than wake up extra early so I can shower.

What do you do?

Morning. The ventilation in my room is poor, so sometimes I get sweaty, and my hair is longish, so if I sleep on it wet it sticks out in all different directions.

I exercise at night, so I take a shower before bed. I too like the clean feeling. I can't go to sleep at night anymore with out taking a shower first.

During the summer I sometimes shower both in the morning and before bed.

You need a fifth option: "Whenever I feel like it." Middle of the day, nighttime, morning, whenever I need one and feel like taking one.

Morning, same time I shave. If I shave at night I go to work with a 5 o'clock shadow.

Not to mention it makes it easier to comb my hair and wakes me up.

I'll shower before bed if I'm dirty. I work in an office, so I don't get grungy, normally.

My wife drinks coffee in the morning to wake up. I take a shower.

I shower in the morning, since I usually sweat at night. I used to take showers at night because I liked the clean bed feeling, but then when I started noticing I smelled like BO in the morning, I started taking them in the morning

After work, usually. In the summers, if I go back outside, or work in the shop fixing something I might again before bed.

Rarely in the morning, unless it was a hot sweaty night, or on the weekends and I've nothing better to do than shower.

I shower in the morning.

I usually don't get that dirty during the day as I have a sit-on-your-ass office job.

Plus, I have to shower in the morning since that is the only way to cure my unruly morning bedhead

. I also prefer to shave in the morning, so showering in the morning helps soften the whiskers. Can't stand to go to work with nubble on my face and if I shaved and showered at night I would and by the noon the next day my hair would be dull and greasy already.

If I do get dirty during the day or after work I do shower at night. Last night was one of those times. I had to because I was covered with pine sawdust and no matter how hard you try you can't get it all off you without a good hot shower.

I usually shower as soon as I get home from work. I can't just sit around all dirty like that.

If I'm on a job where I don't get very dirty, I might wait until just before bed.

What about brushing your teeth? How many times a day do you brush? Do you take your teeth out to brush them, or do you just leave them in?

I used to shower at night, but then I grew my hair out to about an inch long and everyone could tell I slept on it.

Then I switched to showering in the morning. If it weren't for shitty hair, I'd shower at night.

If I've been working construction, and are muddy / dirty / fiberglass covered, I'll do a quick clean up when I get home in the afternoon. But my usual shower time is before going on duty.
