Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - GPS question

I have a Lowarance iHUNT GPS and would like to buy the Map Create topo cd's to down load to the GPS SD card. Do I need to buy their card reader to download the cd's or will my home computer with SD memory card slot be able to do it?

Seems like I read somewhere about only being able to use their proprietary card reader, but that didn't make any sense.

Anybody have this unit or something similar?

I have a ifinder h2o.
You need their card reader.
