2830 Greenwich is a small main belt asteroid, which was discovered by Edward L. G. Bowell in 1980. It is named after Greenwich, the London suburb that is home to the Royal Greenwich Observatory, home of the Astronomer Royal.

Little is known about Greenwich's nature, but its rotation period has been found to be unusually slow, at 3.3 days (80 hours).
