A Beginner's Course In Handling High Explosives:

Our course concentrates on teaching the basic use and safe handling of high explosives.  This course package includes in-classroom instruction and demonstrations, and outdoor hands-on training performing actual blasting jobs which may include road and tunnel construction, rock crushing, stump removal, and site demolition.

This year's classes are located in a remote part of Central Oregon.  Rock cliffs and mountains dominate the terrain.  Participants will stay in a rustic bed and breakfast lodge which sits on the bank of the scenic John Day River.

In addition to the course, there will be plenty of extra curricular activities which may include fishing, archery, rifle shooting, hiking, rafting, and wild game viewing.  Be sure to bring your camera equipment.
