Marlboros are $28 a carton here.  Paid $22 for my last two cartons of Dorals.

Just 9 years ago I was paying $8.99 for a carton of Dorals.  $15 for Marlboros.  But I was also paying $0.87 a gallon for gas.

$50 a carton?

$44 a month is breaking you....you should see how much I pay for health insurance.....oh that's right, I get to subsidize your lifestyle choices.

To be fair, helth insurance is not the same as welfare.  You choose to pay for health insurance.

Yes, but the people that CHOOSE to spend their money on cigarettes, chips and liquor rather than health insurance wind up on the guvment tit eventually. Like I said, if $22 bucks a carton is breaking the bank, you probably ought to find something better to spend your money on, like ammo!!!!

roy d.....I second hand smoked 5 packs a day growing up

about $30/carton for marlboros here in MO.  Apparently many people drive over the river from IL to buy smokes on our side because the tax is substantially lower

Don't smoke anymore, but every time I go grocery shopping i look at the price.  Marlboros are running between $43 - $48 a carton.

Price is somewhere  around $5.75 a pack.
