Kids found a bird nest in our patio. Looks like a sparrow built a nest and has a few eggs in it. It built the nest in one of the lamps we have out there for summer.

Anyways, can I move the lamp to a tree in the yard so it stays safe?

Will the bird leave the eggs if it is moved?

Leave it alone, they will be gone mid-late summer...

chances are that if you move the next you will fuck up whatever bird mojo they need to make a happy nest

If you know what tree it fell out of, put it back.  Not sure the parent birds will find the nest if it is some place else.

Yes, leave it!  I used to live in a house as a kid that had a lamp in front of the door, and every season the hummingbirds would make a nest in it.  It was pretty neat actually.
