I personally use a french press, but have heard capresso is the best.  DeLong is the bain of my office coffee life.  Oh, I also have a Senseo at home for when I am too darn lazy to make decent coffee - it works well for what it is and would highly recomend it for it's given task.

I have this one.

Makes a pot in about 7 minutes, programmable and the goofy green thing is a nice nitelight for getting caught "with a pecker in the fridge".

It only sees Millstone ground "turkish" french roast whole bean

Just get a stovetop percolator.  A plug in model will work in a pinch though.

Ugh.  Percolators recycle water through the grounds over and over again.  They over-extract the hell out of the coffee.  I have never had anything close to a decent cup out of a percolator.

I've got this sum-bitch. IT FOOKING ROCKS!!! A key feature is the filter AUTOMATICALLY swings out of the way for grinding so steam doesn't go up into the grinder when brewing.

After having asked myself that question a few times, we now buy Mr. Coffee makers on sale at KrapMart, always having an NIB spare on hand, and consider them disposable. They usually last about a year or two. All these things are made so far up the Yangtze that the factory town doesn't appear on a map. Years ago I had a nice Bosch unit. It lasted a long time. When it crapped out the repair part would have taken weeks to arrive. I was hoping for coffe the next morning. Silly rabbit.

I have a Cuisinart.  It's well made, doesn't cost a lot and makes good coffee.

I vote Bunn.  I like Bunns.

Ace hardware sells them and has extra pots if you break the original and the extra tall filters to keep the grounds out of your cup.
