I have always been a big fan of Red Hat linux and blew off the other distributions.  I just finished installing Ubuntu and absolutely love it!  I'm going to upgrade this system so I can use it a bit more.

What distribution are you using?

I tried Ubuntu, but could not get some media aspects  to work. I switched to PCLinuxOS, and everything worked right awaay without any setup.  Now that Mepis is moving to Ubuntu repositories, I might try it. Glad to see more and more people switching to a Linux OS, no matter which one.

I think this is the major problem with Linux right now.  One distribution will give a user a great experience and the next will be a major problem.  It all depends on the hardware configuration of th system.  For me Ubuntu has given me the greatest experience thus far.  That and the fact that most mainstream games dont work on linux :)

Running Ubuntu here. It is ok, but I am thinking about installing Fedora Core 5 this weekend.

I ran Fedora Core 4 and really enjoyed it.  One of these days I will play with 5.  I need more computers :)
