There ok, once you see all the damn screws. LOL!!
I guess its compact.... 14.1" screen.... 1.3Ghz CPU small, but gets the job done...

Remember, it is put together like a sammich.
Pc board levels are screwed down in between the palm rest cover and the main board, so you need to pull off those boards before removing the palm rest.
Remove battery
Pull off bezel cover (with the power/HDD/etc leds)
yank out all the screws on the bottom of the notebook, sort by sizes, marks should exist where the longer ones go back - longer are usually for the keyboard...
Remove Keyboard
remove display (screw holding down connector on motherboard, remember to take it out.
Remove Pc boards available, careful of the edge ribbon connectors (flip darker brown part down, pull cable out)
Remove Palm rest ("Top" of notebook with display open), another mini-ribbon wire here....
The wireless antenna wrap around, they disconnect via to mini-coax connectors (by mini, I mean
mini. 1/8" or so diameter barrel connectors, 1 white wire, 1 black wire, they wind around the bezel cover and motherboard.
You should now see the entire power jack that you can't do anything about.
Might be a loose solder joint, but the ones I have seen have the whole mainboard cracked there from people having it in their cars, and the power jack getting hit, if yours is intermittent, and you are creative, you should be able to fix it, use a very low wattage soldering iron with a super fine tip.
