Don't think it was a vette but it may have a dead hooker in the trunk.

ETA: ok maybe it was.

Maybe a blown engine? LT-1 or LS-1 ? If so, it'll cost you some big bucks to replace it. $5-8K.

Barring the above scenario, you should steal it.

Even if you have to take out a personal loan.

Well, where is this ad?   Is a reputable site?  Newspaper?  Gotta give up the source before we can vote.

Ah, the old "death car" is making the rounds again?

I had a friend who had a friend who knew a guy who was selling a brand new (at the time) '78 Trans Am for $200 -- only cause a guy died and rotted in it.....

I was scrambling to come up with the $200. (I was only 15, okay?)

If that is from Ebay it is a scam. They will say they are in Ohio. and when you email them they moved to Italy or such.  Good luck

Got a call last week for some parts on an import from a service station, all electrical parts.
He said it was fron Texas, and you could see the waterline on the vehicle, it was even with the door mirror! The tech left it inside overnight (by accident), said he ahd all 3 bay doors open and 6 fans going but the whole building still  reeked!

I'm not too optimistic about it. My guess is it's just a typo. Hell even if it's a blown engine I'd still take it as it'd be worth it.

Now if I had this chance I would by it free and clear.
If the engine was toast, not a problem.
I would pull it into the garage, do a little research as to hp per vin and model year. I would rebuild it to like new specs. Tranny rebuild checking the ratio's and putting the more desire able ratio's.
Suspension, I love suspension work. I have not had a chance to work with carbon fiber unispring that is used on the 'Vette.
As a note I would use all GM parts as per year, make model and VIN.
I built a 1969 Mustang this way, I lft the 6cyl in but upgraded the suspension to the Gt, It wasn't hold your ass fast but in curves, full throttle. Brakes were from the list that was avilible per vin. I ended up with a 6cyl road racer when eveyone was building drag cars.
Sold it for way more then I had in it, after the buyer drove it.
