I change between a Gerber Covert, Emerson Commander or Spyderco Police.

Those Emerson Kerambits sure look nice and is anyone here carrying one?

What are you thoughts on the Kerambit?

Strider AR.  Used to be an Emerson Commander which still sees occasional use.

I've never used a Karambit but they look pretty cool and Emersons are built well so I don't see how you could go wrong with one.

I am not a big knife guy.  (I have several but prefer to carry a gun) That said I carry a Gerber Gator every day.  I have other but the Gator holds a good edge, is semi serrated and will cut most things I need to cut.

It is spring-assisted in any way or is it all in the hand? My 1550 was spring-assisted and I fell in love with it. My 2415T requires a flick of the thumb to get it open, but it's fast.

Emerson Mach 1, it takes quite a bit of abuse. Not thinking, I used it to open a sack of quik-crete, that bitched it up a good bit, I ran it over a hone a few times and it's good as new.

I carry an Emerson Commander w/wave.  The wave makes it the fastest unfolding knife in the world, faster than automatics. The knife opens as you pull it out of your pocket.
