Just looking at all the marches by illegals
No American flags allowed in some schools.
Other than the great weather ,why do you stay there.

Cali's are coming into NV by the assload. Not a day goes by I don't see 20-30 Cali plates on the road here. The worst is some jackass who finally gets new NV plates that puts a huge SOCAL sticker on the back of his car.

You guys should see all the Texas,NV,AZ,Florida plates that are cars parked infront of brand new housing developments.People are moving out here from back east by the cattle cars.
I could give a rats ass who moves out here(more power to you) I just dont like the illegals trashing up our state!

Apparently Monday will be another big protest day and Law Enforcement agencies are gearing up.
The sad part is that most of the protesters I have seen are citizens.

I like to remind them (or tell tehm because most do not know) that their hero Cesar Chavez was very, very anti illegal immigration. Chavez led a march to the border in 1967 (I think) to demand the border be closed.

I do not care for Chavez overall and think he was a pain in the ass and a criminal, but on that point I applaud him.

I've got a Brother-In-Law that lives in one of the resident areas... Should I hire a Nevada car to visit him?

But to answer the original question, don't underestimate the power of the weather. When I was moving to the US, I had three leads on jobs. Atlanta, RTP and Silicon Valley. There was a foot of snow in Atlanta. There was three feet of snow in Raleigh. It was drizzling in San Francisco, and people were in short sleeves. Three days later I was on a one-way flight.

The variety of scenery and things to do within driving distance is also worthy of note.

Apparently the nuke placed in the fault will not work. From what I hear with the lay of the fault it is more likely California land mass would move east into Nevada, as opposed to the ocean bottom.

the weather has been shit latley... i stay cuz there is serious money here relating to jobs... if you have the right skills i can make another 20-30k a year than in other states. now ralated to the cost of living, its not much but for somone like me, who takes care of a reletiver and lives with them, its great.

now in time i WILL leave, honestly i see myself in nevada in the next 10 years.

the only thing i really hate about this state is the politics. i dont care about gays, hippies, and libtards... they are entitled to their veiws. but, when they force them apon me(i keep to myself with my politics, untill pushed) screw them.

this is truely a beutiful state, we have mountains, deserts, forests, the ocean... everything. its just a shame that some bad apples have ruined it.

CA will always be my home, born and raised. but there will be a time i MUST leave... there willbe lots of things i will miss.

as for the american flag thing, finally the ACLU does somthing even romotely relevent and protests... sigh... wow, one thing out of 1000...
