Ok - I bought a Garmin gps map 76 - was kinda disapointed that it did not come with any details of the swannee or santa fe rivers - here in Florida.

In looking at their web page - how does the trail/topo maps work with this model - do the maps load up?

What does the Hive Mind have to offor?

Thanks,

Badredfish

Edited for grammar.

Any one else - what do you have - what do you think - is it worth it?

Badredfish,

If you want to see if the maps are worth it go to this link:
Garmin's Cartography Link

On the upper left hand side you can look at examples of Garmin's different software.  It's under the "Mapsource Map Viewer" section.  The above link lets you zoom into where ever you want.  You'll be able to make the decision yourself.

I just bought a Garmin 60csx.  After being a die hard Magellan fan, I'm really sold on the Garmin 60csx!

By the way I just got Topo for Canada and have had Topo for the USA for one of my old Garmins.  I think the software is worth it.  It's fairly accurate too!
