...until it inexplicably turns into a tragedy when Shaun is forced to (spoiler delted).  BOTTOM LINE: Recommended, but not top-notch material (in either the Zombie or comedy categories). |

Just finished watching it myself. I normally like British humor, and there were a few funny parts, but in general I'm not a fan of the movie.

Great movie.
You'd have to be a connaisseur of old school zombie movies to truly appreciate it. If you actually pay attention to the movie some of the small tid bits of humor are genius. |

The main guy, Shaun, is in tons of little tiny flicks that are funny. There's one where a girl asks him if he speaks English, and he's saying no, and pointing her in the direction of people that might. Pretty funny.. sounds lame.

A decent Zombie flick but with that British dry wit. It starts off as a sort of comedy but ends up a serious zombie movie.
DISCLAIMER: It must be considered to be only for entertainment purposes. It's not a training film or documentary. While some of the tactics are based in fact, many are simply dramatic license to cover holes in the plot. |

I thought it was VERY well-written, very well directed, very well acted, and the pacing was excellent. It takes quite a bit for me to really like a movie - I only own about 10. There are a lot of other movies I like, but not enough to buy. Shaun of the Dead is one that I own.
