Bought 500 rds today. I thought this was loaded in commercial brass? What I got is loaded in LC with sealed and crimped primers?

If you did, you got a bargain.
At least you can swage the primer pocket and reload LC. The standard Federal brass is shit and only good for one shot. DO NOT try to reload it. |

Yeah, its all like that.. LC with the NATO stamp, crimped and sealed primer in the red American Eagle box. |

All of my older (1999) American Eagle has the commercial brass. It expands unbelievably upon firing and appears to be very soft. Even full-sizing doesn't make it useable. |

Federal/American Eagle/Lake City are all the same company now. I imagine they share brass when needed. My 3K of AE going with me to the Carbine Operators course at Blackwater are this way too. |
