[God Bless Texas] And not one of those colleges/universities is in Texas. [/God Bless Texas]

ETA:  I feel the same way TimJ, it just frustrates me feeling like there's nothing I can do about it.  People Sheeple are becoming more and more unglued each year in terms of what's right and what's decent.  Something big is going to happen, whether it's in 10 years or 30 years, that is going to 'break the camels back' so to speak.

I'll be on this board when that happens to find out where the shootin' party is

At work (I'm a park ranger in a national park) last summer, I had a visitor try to equate the al-Qaeda terrorists with the farmers at Lexington and Concord, who dared fight against unfair rule. He said Osama and his ilk were "just like the Minutemen""....

Even though NPS personnel are not allowed to get into modern political discussions, I couldn't let this one go by. I replied that I didn't think that Capt. John Parker and his men would have murdered men, women and children en masse in airplanes and skyscrapers, nor would they have beheaded their victims live on the Internet.

He looked kind of squashed after that one. He didn't know what to say. The logic of what I said was inescapable, even to him. Who was he? A well-known Harvard professor, who shall remain nameless, whom you often see as a talking head on news programs.

And- he was an asshole, both to me and everybody there, even before his comment.
