I was browsing the Packing.org site and discovered that the RKBA in CA
is much better compared to IL. More than one county has handgun bans in there.
Interesting.

A comparison between California and Illinois on gun issues is about as useful as an ass flavored lollypop.

Lets talk about the comparative merits of human rights in Nazi Germany versus Communist Russia, and the killing fields while we're at it.

Is there data on total number of CCW's issued statewide?  I bet California issues a lot of concealed carry permits!

What if it was a lollypop flavored like Jessica Alba's ass?

Is there data on total number of CCW's issued statewide?  I bet California issues a lot of concealed carry permits!

California has a total of 45,120 active permits at the end of 2005. For comparison, Florida has over 360,000, Virginia over 260,000, Texas almost 250,000, and Pennsylvania currently has active well over 600,000 permit holders.

On a percentage basis, less than .15% of Californians have CCW permits. The top five states by percentage of population with CCW permits:

7.45% South Dakota
6.79% Indiana
6.76% Pennsylvania
5.23% Connecticut
5.12% Washington
4.34% Idaho
4.10% Utah
3.86% Oregon
3.45% Tennessee
3.15% Alabama

The % method is a better way to show how few Californians have CCW.  I asked for the total number because California has so fucking many people and I thought that might help make it look better.
Yes I am a California apologist and supporter! Maybe when you add up all the Law Enforcement who don't need to have a CCW and add the people who CCW unlawfully then we may approach some of the freer States.......
