It took us about two months to get our meeting with the agent and about two weeks to get our license after that. The two weeks waiting for the license seemed to take alot longer than the wait for the meeting.

It depends, what kind of FFL are you applying for? 01? 03? 07? etc.... normally takes the NLIC 60-90 days to process it, if it doesn't get lost in the shuffle, you'll receive it within that timeframe. Otherwise, you'd have to call them and check on the status of it, they may ask you to fax a copy of the app. So, make sure, you make copies of everything you mailed to them.
