With many conservatives now serving on the US supreme court and justice Samuel Alito publicly stating that Congress has no authority to curb the sale of machine guns will we Americans ever see the day the ban gets lifted?

Best way to get the SC to overturn theese gun control laws is to get european countries to overturn theirs, since their laws usurp the constitution according to them

I remember this thread several years back only it was concerning the AW ban. Same kind of responses...."Never happen"..."Hell will freeze over first".....

Moral of the story...only ask these types of questions here if you're looking for doom and gloom because that's all you're going to get.

Huge difference there, my friend. The AWB did have a sunset clause in it. Congress merely had to not vote to renew the law. Current MG laws have no sunset clauses in them.

Its now or never in my opinion, when’s the last time the supreme court has looked this good, when’s the last time we had a justice that supported lifting the ban on Machine guns and 98% on the panel were pro-gun

Read Alito's decision about machineguns. He has no problem with restricting the ownership of machineguns, he merely ruled that it was not done in the proper manner.

The general public does not understand the NFA process. The media would be all over it saying "Machine guns to be legalized". Bradybunch would be saying "machine guns will flood the streets". And as usual, the public will buy into their propaganda. It would take hard work.

What are they going to say when we point out that they are already legal?

How will "we" point this out to them is the question. There are three things that could happen.
-Media will brainwash Americans into thinking it is a "bad thing"
-Media will be honest about it and Americans will understand
-Media will be honest and Liberals will realize machine guns are legal and push for a ban on all of them.
