I need another hobby like a hole in my head
 What's a decent metal detector for hunting stuff out in the desert? I want to go hunting around on my days at places where people were riding quads and all that sort of thing. |

I used to do this with my Dad about 30 years ago. We found lots of interesting stuff. Also lots of old coins. I imagine the machines have gotten alot better in the meantime. The hardest part is finding places to go where you are welcome. I guess the desert would be one of those places, but none around here.
Best thing I found was some silver coins from the late 1800's. |
