Given that now this is probably the second shooting of which I have been within 200 yards since moving here, I have wondered about the legality of intervention.

My intuition tells me that I should probably just stay out of it and keep my AO on lockdown.  I wouldn't want to shoot at someone possibly defending themselves.  What do you think?

Damn that's what I thought signing the lease...

A shooting happened right outside my building not too long ago.  But it seems like shootings happen in San Antonio all the time.  It also seems like they never catch the guys, too.

My opinion is to let the police handel it unless you can hear or see somebody being attacked or raped, I would also wait for a bit until to police arrive and then see if you can talk to them and find out whats up............I know i would want to know whats going on!!!

What's wrong with a little gun fire?

Oh, yeah. Never mind. You're in a city. We have gunfire out here all the time. Its a reassuring sound.

One may think so, huh, considering our history and all.

I think you're thinking and posting way too sanely for the GD.

Move from cover into an environment where you might be a target for the bad guys or arriving LEOS? Definitely sit tight.
