I've recently moved into an apartment, and I want to be a "good neighbor" by investing in a decent set of headphones to use on my PC during "sleeping hours."  I'm looking for some recommendations from the audiophiles here.

I spend a lot of time in front of a computer screen, and I need headphones for jamming to muzak, watching movies, and playing games.  I'm really interested in getting a 5.1 headphone set, but I haven't come across any reviews for a particularly good pair yet.  I don't necessarily need super-uber-ultra-high-end headphones, but I don't mind dropping some cash on a decent set.  I'd ideally like to keep it under $250.

Any recommendations?

Sony MDR-V6 (or 7506) about $100. They are the best at the price point IMO.

www.headphone.com has lots of good info.
