It reminds me of the guy in Canada who buried a number of school busses, did conversions, connected them, stocked them, etc. for the dreaded Y2K catastrophe.
He sank a lot of money into that "bomb" shelter. |

A school bus is a poor choice for conversion, they are geared low for stopping and starting and have heavy bracing to protect the passengers in the event of accident, some of the older busses were overweight before a single person stepped on board.
Better off with a surplus Greyhound type charter bus. |

It's all good until you try to go under an overpass or powerline with that thing.
