i have many..
stink bombs.. were allways fun, but these were funny the year was 1989, we were at a school dance, we had a tippmann paint ball grenade.. i was in 10th grade. .. i pulled the pin and the cap, and sat it on a table where people would be likely to sit on it or drop it.. 5 us walked to the other side of the room and watched.. a group of 4 girls we didnt like was over to the table.. 1 girl all most sits on it before another stoped her.. we were all cracking up.. they walk away.. next, the VP come over and spots it.. it had leaked a small amout of paint on the table.. he picks it up.. all of us are like "HOLY ****!.. GO OFF NOW!!!!" he layed it back down it didnt go off.. he comes back 2 min later with a custodian and he picks it up... we all start craking up agine hopeing it will blow.. it didnt the custodian walk back to his office with it to toss it out.. the door closes... 30sec later the door busts open with him coming running out COVERED in paint.. we lost it 1/2 of us fell on the floor laughing so hard we couldnt breath... in todays schools, they would have called the swat team in... then there was... last week of school, we brought in 5 20,000 cubic foot pull pin smoke grenades.. 1 was taped to a classroom door, the teacher triggered it when she open the door.. 1 was taped inside a locker we broke into, to the door, it went off when he open it.. the other 3 were all set at the same time in diffrent stairways.. the smoke was so think the had to call in the fire DEPT. with big fans to blow it out of the building.. no 1 was ever cought.. On 3 ocasions I took a gun to school for differant reports.
I took it on the bus, gave it to the principal, went down and got it for class. After the report I took it back to the office and then took it on the bus to go home. |

I beat the crap out of a kid for talking about my momma! You know how important it is to defend your mommas name when you are in 7th grade right? Well I would have caught an assault an battery for sure!

we used to go hunting before school. come november the student parking lot had all kinds of guns in window racks. back then if so-and-so got a dear that morning it was an excused absence. this was only in the late 80's early 90s... most astonishing thing:

Carried a pocket knife. For some reason the auto and shop classes were not subject to that school ruling.
Had a shotgun in the trunk many of times. I don't like geese. Casings in the truck all the time. never bothered to clean them out but in todays world...i would be a potential killer. I could think of more, its just weapons infractions that come to mind now. |

1. Brought a dead skunk to school.
2. Tossed a chunk of metallic sodium into a sink full of water to see if it would explode (it did). 3. Made out with girls in between classes. 4. Made pipe bombs in agri shop. 5. Everybody had guns in their cars and trucks, including the teachers and administrators. 6. Brought a .22 rifle in to the principal's office (he was my Dad) to ask him if it was OK if I bought it from a buddy of mine. Marlin Model 25 single shot IIRC. |

Carried a pocket knife starting day one and all the way until graduation (and still now).
Brought a .22 rifle to school daily for weeks at a time because we had a small bore team. Bought beer late in my senior year (the age of legality was 18 back then  ).Any of the above would result in expulsion today I'm sure. Maybe even arrest.

I carried a taken down Llama 22 auto inside a hollowed out zipper Bible. Worked great for 2 full years. Not for fighting, but to have when other guys wanted to skip school and go poaching. Had some great days with that little gun. I also carried it most evenings when I worked on a neighbor's farm, and took chucks, coons, a fox, many a rabbit, etc with it in those two years.

On another note, I wounder how many of our heros -such as people in the military past- were they born today, would never have gained their place due to the mark-you-for-life laws and felonies. Sometimes the greatest of our society were "rowdy" in their youth. C.H. |

Brought my 10/22 with folding stock to high school folded up and stuffed in my duffle bag since I was going to my friends farm after school to do some squirrel hunting. This was back in the 1980s though and I never thought anything of it. The kid I shared lockers with usually had a bottle of Jack and a carton of cigarettes stashed inside, we were allowed to smoke if we brought a letter from our parents saying it was ok.

84 or 85... walking down the halls after school juggling three dummy pineapple grenades.
Assistant principle told em "take those home". I previously had one I used as a key ring and it hung on the side of my belt all day. I went to a braniac high school and was in JROTC. One of the (if not the only) Detroit Public High School thet did NOT have metal detectors. The "security guard" was an old overweight lady who could barely walk, and was not very intimidating. My friends and I picked up a guy's car who we didnt really like...and moved it over the parking brick. it was fwd and he had to get a towtruck to get it out.

I took an M-7 bayonet to school so that I could use the polishing wheel on the blade after school. The art teacher okayed it, and I asked the principal for permission beforehand. Now, I'd probably be in juvie for even asking...
