Long, long ago I owned a Crossman 1377 pump-pneumatic air pistol

It had the world's WORST trigger, but with care that sucker would shoot 1/2" groups at 25 yards.

I'm getting a hankering for a little backyard target practice, and I want another air pistol.  This time I'm thinking about a spring-piston type.

Any of you out there in the hive mind have experiences with air pistols you'd like to share?  I'm not interested in killing cats, just aluminum cans and punching paper.  My yard offers about 75-80' of range.

Beeman Tempest is a great spring-piston pistol. I had one for years, good stuff.

Beeman P1 magnum, bunnies hate them and they feel like a 1911.
Spring air, dual power,  Crisp 2 stage trigger and accurate too!
That one is in 20 cal.
