XXXXX DRUDGE REPORT XXXXX THU MARCH 23, 2006 13:11:09 ET XXXXX

ABC NEWS EXEC: 'BUSH MAKES ME SICK'; E-MAIL REVEALED

**Exclusive**

A top producer at ABC NEWS declared "Bush makes me sick" in an email obtained by the DRUDGE REPORT.

John Green, currently executive producer of the weekend edition of GOOD MORNING AMERICA, unloaded on the president in an ABC company email obtained by the DRUDGE REPORT.

"If he uses the 'mixed messages' line one more time, I'm going to puke," Green complained.

The blunt comments by Green, along with other emails obtained by the DRUDGE REPORT, further reveal the inner workings of the nation's news outlets.

A friend of Green's at ABC says Green is mortified by the email. "John feels so badly about this email. He is a straight shooter and great producer who is always fair. That said, he deeply regrets the sentiment expressed in the email and the embarresment it causes ABC News."

email is a very dangerous thing.

People don't realize that while an email can be deleted from your inbox, it can live on the hard drive of an exchange server forever or until the administrator purges it.

You never know where it is going to end up.

People have personal opinions.  If his network didn't appear to be actively trying to make negative press for Bush I'd say 'so what'.  But come on, there is just no argument about how the press hates him and far they will go to spin everything they can into a negative light.  Simply no question at all.

I was watching CNN yesterday (not sure WTF I was thinking) when a story about VP Cheney came up (LINK to CNN story re: VP Cheney)

It was about his "quirky" demands of his advance team when he travels

He insists on the room being 68 degrees, all lights on, and the TV on and turned to FOX News Channel.

She (the CNN reporter) then delivered a crack of "How is that 'Fair and Balanced?"

Whoever does not believe the top levels of the news business are not doing everything in their power to slant the information made available to the general public has their head in the sand.

It's like a bad nightmare for the lefties. They can't wake up and it's just getting worse and worse. No impeachment, no Cheney "murder charges", no Karl Rove indictment...everything they try seems to fail.

I would dismiss it too except it obviously has a large impact on how they decide to cover the news and report it to the public.  THAT is what makes it wrong.  This is just confirmation of what we already knew.

There are two extremes - one that rubberstamps what the government says, and one that ALWAYS opposes what the government says.  ABC falls into the latter category; they are biased.  Your bias is also showing.

What he said.  I don't mind critical stories.  I mind deliberate attempts to smear and spin to fit your perceptions and opinions.  If the fact that you don't like Bush leads you to find that acceptable then you are no better.  I hated Clinton too, but I didn't just chime in and nod my head with every story that wanted to disect his every word and turn it into a menace.
