This states sucks, we still have the assault weapons ban. but we are a class 3 state
but no selective fire

Connecticut's laws are FUBAR because we are stuck between NY and MA. We have meatheads in office that don't know anything about guns hence some of these F**KEDUP laws. Can't have an assault weapon unless you had it and registered it before the CT ban. No Colt AR-15, but we can buy a preban OLY, Bushmaster, etc... if it was built as a gun before the CT ban. Can't own a SAR1 unless you owned it and registered it before it was banned but a SAR2 or 3 is ok as long as it's not 7.63x39. CCW is the only good thing here. We can own machine guns no select fire have to be full auto can you imagine that! I personally am very tired of this state. The Wife and I are looking to move to Southern VA to North Carolina. Anyone want to buy my expensive house in Fairfield county?

can you open carry an AR in open carry states? i don't think it'd be smart or practical, but LEGALLY can you do it?
