Mine is my wedding ring.
What it means is beyond priceless. |

We have to define possession here. I was thinking something tangable you can hold. |

do you have a retirement fund? can you hold it? you can (in my opinion) possess a strong faith. |

not a possesion but it would be the wife after that the house
To be serious for once.......my salvation.......offered at no cost through Christ.
(Without it, the flames of Hell would be all too tangible....at some point) After that, it would be my family and friends. |
That was my answer! |
MY 2nd Amendment Rights. FUCK YOU GUN GRABBERS! |
it would be a toss up between the swiss army knife that my father carried through iraq/iran and the 1891 mauser my grandfather passed down to me...
You are correct, sir! |
Sweet. I wasn't sure what to put and my Green Card was one of the things that came to mind...but I think they would replace it if something happened. |
In terms of material possessions, probably my AR or my car, it’s a close call and my AR isn’t tricked out. That ought to tell you something about my car.
I own no property, don’t have any electronics that I couldn’t replace for $400, no jewelry, no stocks or bonds, no expensive antiques, or collectable items… I would have to pay someone to haul my furniture away… Dang!!! I didn’t realize how poor I was until I responded to this post. |

Non Material - Faith, My Wife and Kid
Material in order: My Company My retirement money My house |
My assurance of eternal salvation and fellowship with the Lord
The trust my children place in me, to lose it would be un-thinkable.
my first wallet, because I then gave it to my older brother becuase he liked it so much, and then I got it back when he passed away...
I don't consider my husband or my sons to be "possessions."
They are my life. My Freedom is a much valued right, but not something I feel I possess.. My material things (home, cars, and all the crapola in them) can be replaced. Therefore, if it MUST be something I possess, I will say my sense of humor. |
When I was in Army Basic my Grandmother sent me a letter. Included with her letter was a letter that my (deceased) Grandfather sent her when HE was in Army Basic in 1950.
When the time is right, I will send it to my cousin who will be in Army Officer training - with the condition that he send both Grandmas and Grandpas letter - with mine and his own - to our next blood relative to go in the military. -K |

Material:2005 Silverado, Bushmaster Patrolmans carbine, 2003 Honda 400EX, 2002 CR125
My girlfriend, my life, second amendment rights, freedom But my most valuable possession? My Stallard arms (Hi Point) 9mm just kiddin |
My Great-grandfathers Holland & Holland double rifle
My truck (06 dodge RAM cummins turbo) My car (Toyota Prius - it may be ghey, but it gets great mileage, and the GPS keeps me entertained) My Snowmobiles My gaming computers -in that order. |
Does value of one's possession take into account it being a liability –vs- asset?
For example, if I owned a Ferrari... it would be the second most expensive thing, but because it is a liability it would be less valuable than a rental house, which is an asset? |
My Salvation, provided as a gift to me by our Lord Jesus Christ.
Not counting non-physical times, nor people...hmmmm.
I'm not poor, but there's nothing I couldn't walk away from in five minutes, no regrets. Material things just don't have that sort of hold on me. |
I do not place a lot of importance on tangible goods that cannot be replaced. When you put a lot of importance on an object there are too many possiblities to become upset over losing a trivial article.
That being said my possesions that I value the most are my AR15 and my Benchmade, God I love this knife. James |
My friend........ Material things are just that: Things......... If you have even one person who loves you in this world, you are a rich man.... Trust me..... I'm 'poor' too..... |
