We have soldiers in Afghanistan, shooting, and dying, they are actually fighting, and now that we have got an actual normal government in power, I am hopeful to see our forces with better equipment, and fighting other enemies (which are predominantly RoP)
France is letting the RoP burn their country for the SECOND time in less than a year's time..... I think between your two choices it is pretty obvious who is lacking of the testes |

Napoleon Bonaparte led France to be one of the top nations at the time.
The Colonial Period made them almost as widespread as the British Empire. They fought bravely during the Franco-Prussian war, and even more fiercely during the bloody Great War (WWI). They were conquered (yes, they surrendered. With a large portion of the German army at their throats) in WWII, but the Partisans fought on until the end, and they executed many of the Vichy traitors. They fought to keep Indochine until the bitter end; Ðien Bien Phu was a humiliating defeat but they fought powerfully, leading to about 23,000 Vietnamese casualties out of 50-100,000 compared to the 2,200 of the 16,000 French killed. No, I wouldn't say the French are, on the whole, sissies. But then I don't buy into this whole ignorant hate thing. |

Even with the Quebec issue and the retarded socialism, Canada:
(1) still has probably the best snipers and pathfinders in the world in JTF2 and PPCLI. (2) the real national sport is hockey, a sport where guys race around on blades, shooting a puck at speeds sometimes over 100mph, and hit each other. (The French equivalent to the Stanley Cup involves bicycles and spandex shorts) (3) has an estimated 500,000+ gun owners telling the government in Ottawa to stick their gun laws back up their behinds. (4) has never surrendered, never been occupied or collaborated with Nazis, and there has never been a Vichy Canada Edited out a factoid I had wrong. |
