You pull out th HD and use a large hammer.  That will make shure your personal information is gone.

thanks.is it easy to get info from someones harddrive?i deleted all my files,are they still on there?i just wanna make sure all my credit card and bank info is gone.

It is easy if you just used the operating system 'delete' feature because it remains there but the file system flags it as free space.  If you wipe it as with the above mentioned program it is more difficult and you only have things like the government to worry about.
