Wow! I mean... wow!
That takes some courage. She didn't stand up for humanity on some western media outlet (who would never have let her on in the first place). She's making her stand on Al-Jazeera, in the belly of the beast. I know she says she doesn't believe in God, but I do. And I pray that He keeps her safe to spread her message of peace. His ways can be mysterious. |

Reminds me of an Al-Jaeera version of Hannity and Colmes... Put somebody on TV that is so liberal that one can easily discredit them by calling them a Heretic. It doesn't surprise me that they used a woman to be the Ultra-leftwing whack-job either. It make it all that much easier for the muslim idiots to say "what does she know... first of all she's a woman, second of all she's a Heretic!"

Dang, I hope she's got her affairs in order and plenty of life insurance for her loved ones' benefit.
You know, guys, never a day passes here that I don't find at least a couple or three blanket condemnations here of all of us gals as somehow defective. I'd like to know how many of those who post such stereotypical criticisms have the big brass equipment to do what this frail flower of the middleeast is doing, knowing as she must, the consequences. |

And BTW she is not blowing leftist socialist smoke either. Nor is she blowing right wing propaganda. I'm an agnostic/athiest but I would fight for your right to worship how you want. You should have the freedom to believe in what you want to believe. It is not Right or Left. That is the essance of the 1st ammendment. Just because she is a secular humanist doesn't mean she is a socialist. She was illustrating the barbaric violent nature of the Islamic religion. That is ALL. And she has some good points. It has been a few hundred years since main stream Christianity was violent. Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists etc. don't protest with suicide bombers, and murders. All the religions have some problems with them, but these are minor and insignificant with the violent problems of the Islamic religion. And she has some damn good points about how western culture and other religions have contributed positively to human kind and contrasting that with what Islam has contributed. I have read some of the Quarn when studying different religions and it was enough to make me see that it is one of the most messed up religions I have come across. |

Everyone seems to be praising her but somehow, somewhere , someone has to try to turn it against others in a gender based argument to belittle and ridicule some who would be stereotyped into a certain category.
