It was probably hastily slapped together over a weekend by some savant kid who watched a hour long documentary on modern aircraft carriers on The Military Channel.

If I were his parent and saw that a documentary on the Grand Canyon was coming on soon, the house would suddenly suffer a mysterious "power failure."

All you need is a scale model of that hole in the ground taking up your entire basement...
