The Without Remorse thread got me thinking. Clark is/was the first modern ficticious ass kicker so who would win?
Jack Baur or John Clark? Would be a kick ass movie if both of them teamed up to kill bad people

Clark for sure. Just finished Without Remorse a few weeks ago.
That dude is a baaa-aaad man. (I think Bauer would put up a good fight, make no mistake, but Clark would end up winning) Oooh, what a great idea for the next season of 24: One well trained bad guy stalks Bauer for one entire day. |

Clark, without breaking a sweat.
Jack gets pwned about two to four times per season. That's two to four times in one day. Hell, Robocop pwned him twice in one episode/hour. |

Jack is badass but he did get owned in a 1 on 1 fight by the head field agent in Season 4 in the like the second episode. "I TOLD YOU NOT TO GO AGAINST ME JACK!" Too bad that guy got taken out by a cheapshot by that terrorist.
I think the problem is Jack is just getting old. He kicks major ass but the reality of the situation is that he's 40+ years old. John Clark was like in his late 20s in that book. If Jack Bauer was in his late 20's or early 30's, it might be a bit more even. Rest assured when Jack catches up to Robocop, ROBO IS GOIN' DOWN! |
