Pizza preference?
I made the poll so you can do that. |
Buffalo, NY style.
It's a Chicago/New York style hybrid ETA: It's like getting both, in true Arfcom fashion |
Do 5 option polls work?
NY style all the way Chi style is like eating a casarole |
Definitely New York, but the best pizza on earth is Big Fred's pizza in Omaha-by far.

(I love these threads for what happens after I say this)
Canadian Bacon & Pineapple, with a side of ranch dressing. Oh, YEAH! |
Anyone who votes anything other than Chicago is insane, and should not be allowed to own firearms or vote. |
Ny style is my preference, but I enjoy chicago style as an interesting novelty. |
I try not to eat pizza. I find I like it too much.
And it's not very good for your - healthwise. |
Well, I like New York style. FWIW I can't vote...but I have guns. |
Depends on the mood. I got enough room in my heart for both kind.
You should see a psychiatrist about your obvious mental problem. Or perhaps an MD about your dysfunctional taste buds. Or maybe you just haven't had the RIGHT Chicago pizza yet, like Gino's East or Giordano's (To be fair, I like all sorts of pizza, and NY is great - but some Chicago pizzas are just absolutely sublime!) |

They just can't do real New York style pizza in Colorado, may have to do with the altitude, so I always have a few slices whenever I go back.
I used to like Chicago style, but it is hard to find good ones. |
It's true. The best I have found so far is either Abos (mediocre at best) or Franks on Broadway down in Littleton. |
I prefer a New York style thinner, yet chewy crust, but I've never turned down any Chicago style either
I like my pie NY style., though its hard to get it here in 'da south, Y'all
chicago style.
best pizza ever--conan's in austin. made by potheads, who have at least 1 real-world skill. |
Real NY style rocks!
Chicago is ok once in a while. It's good, but different, more like a tomatoe pie. |
On a slightly related tangent, I had some assclown Chicagoan try to tell me that Chicago has better Mexican food than anywhere in Texas because... 'It's Chicago!'
Get both! And that isn't a joke. I mean it. You had BETTER try both if you don't want a severe roundhouse to the face. |
Given that I live an hour from Chicago, I've grown up with Chicago style (Pan pizza, or deep dish is what we call it)
What the heck do YOU know? You'se a dern furriner anyway! With a PHD!!! Go back to your windmills, and your chocolates, and your nazi gold you swiss bastard!!! |
Chicago. There is a place by me whose x-large pizza weighs about 10lbs.
Considering your stance on the subject of biscuits & gravy, you have no business making culinary-political statements. As for me? Texas pizza please - Mr. Jim's "Sticky Fingers", specifically. |
WTF do you know about Pizza? You're not even an American! To make things worse you live in MO! They aint exactly known for their pizza! |
you're nuts chicago pizza is like eating a loaf of bread with sauce and cheese |

1. Totonno's in Coney Island
2. Lombardi's NY These places still have coal fired ovens. Best of the best. |
Ooooh - that was a quality burn!! Since it's St. Paddy's day, I'm going to put my nazi gold in a cauldron and pretend I'm a drunk leprecaun. |
Chicago.
I'm from there. Admittedly I'm biased. Although I'm mad at Gino's East. The location near me changed owners, and then the quality turned bad really fast, then it closed. |
Then you sir went to a restaurant that cant make a proper Chicago style pizza |
MO = Imo's |
All true But I used to live in Chicago and Gino's East or Giordano's will kick the ass of any east coast pizza! |

That pizza place is in my city. Some pizza book rated it as being the 6th best pizza place in the country. It's smack dab in the middle of the ghetto though. Although that area wouldn't have been ghetto 80 years ago when it opened. |
Bah! They aren't even fit to be mentioned in the same thread as Pepe's or Sal's of New Haven. |
Chicago. No doubt.
Had a gf from Chicago and used to love eating my way through that city. |
UPS is your friend Just order from HERE and pop it in the oven. |
NY style = too greasy
Chicago = too much crust California = Rountable Pizza w/ real california cheese is the best...Mountain Mike's is # 2 |
