Incredible and such a waste. Lots of pics. Check em out. I think AR15.COM needs to form a massive assault on the building and take these guns back. Who's with me?
Link Here's a few teasers: |

Add that to the above and you have my perfect basement set up. |

Isn't that called the jackhammer or something? Might be something else. |

Me !. (but you first ) |

I believe that is a South African Neostad shotgun. Pretty rare here in the U.S. There are a lot more pics of the BATF's gun rooms over in Machinegunbooks.com. Pretty neat stuff! |
Neostad...it's South African. |
I hope CMMG doesn't mind you posting a link to one of their subdirectories....
I wonder what the story is as these could be evaluation samples... BATFE weapons for the next WACO, or as suggested seized guns... If these are evaluations, imagine the prototypes and one of a kind guns that they must have in there! |
I think the history channel tales of the gun special said the building was at an undisclosed "secret" location and that they are required to keep at least 1 example of every type of firearm ever made for indentification purposes.
That's a Hotchkiss Universal submachine gun. I think they were made in the late 40s to the early 50s. |
Is that place open to the public? One pic has some teenage girl standing around a bunch of mounted MGs. |
Looks like an attempt at a grease-gun copy with a folding stock.... Let it be known that I would happily shoot the dogs of every single ARFCOM member to gain regular and unfettered access to that room and the joyous weaponry contained therein. |
oh, for the collapse of civilization so we can go shopping there.
SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!!!!
ATF Superstore, Slashing prices EVERYTHING MUST GO!!!!!!! |
One of the Colt Thompsons had "Angola State Prision" carved into the wood -- so IMO probally , for the sake of public safety , they were "impounded" |
Of course they paid the $200.00 tax on each and everyone of the NFA items in thier collection.
Damn... not only do they have a lot of rare and unusual stuff, but just about evey piece appears to be in unused or mint condition.
I doubt it. Most likely she is related to someone who works in the ATF and was given a private tour or was part of a private tour. I been able to tour places off limits to the public due to a few contacts in politics. Av. |

And there's plenty of empty rack space still available. Damn gun grabbers.
Quite a collection.
I'd like a wheel barrow, a pick up truck and 30 minutes alone in that place. |
Hi, I'm with the BATFE. I wasn't good enough to be a real cop or fed, so I got hired by the IRS.
I'd be happy with five uninterrupted minutes and all I can carry. |

Well, only one good thing, they had the decentcy not to destroy them.
Hardcore gun porn. gotta love it |
I want that, and that, and that, and uh... 2 of those, and that...
...ill take that and all those and... |
+1, how many of the guns in those pictures are pre-86? Think about this: for all those congresscritters who love to increase taxes, why not allow the ATF to auction off their "extras" and have the money go to fund the government. |
I....I....I'm at a loss for words.....so beautiful, yet so depressing (that these aren't pics of my bedroom closet...).... |
They'd need ten times the space if they could get back all the guns that go home with the BATF guys instead of into storage.
Did you see the 1911 witht the shoulder stock and front grip?
Wonder if that was a select fire one? |
Man that was funny!!! I called the ATF and asked what kind of burbon and cigars go with an M16.... |
I would happily take a masive paycut to be able to go and be the resident caretaker of that mess. Imagine the trigger time you'd be able to get!
You know what? I'll fuckin' tell what!
I'll bet you that every single one of those guns is transferrable. They are just sitting on the fuckers to keep them out of circulation. I hate the government. |
