I don't usually carry at work, but I would say I carry about 80% of the time I am out of the house.

Most of the time.. I got my CHL in December, so I'll say 50% of the time. Still need to get used to it.

Everyday except when I travel to places (Canada, Mexico, Brazil, China, etc.) where it would get me thrown in prison. I am carrying at work right now.

Of course, I usually work from home.

If I'm going shopping or out for errands I usually have it on me.  If I'm visiting a friend or whatever I will usually have it in the car.

if I am awake, I am packing

Why bother with a CCW if you use it "sometimes".
Reminds me of all the BS threads of  "one in the pipe?"

Everywhere I'm legally allowed to. Unfortunately, I work for a state university and ride public transportation to work, and in GA, those are both no-nos, so I spend a lot of time legally not allowed to.

If a person makes the commitment to get the permit, pay the fees, get the prints taken, send in the photo and waiting weeks for the background check to clear, then why would a person not continue their commitment to carry?

With the execption of the .gov/airport type of places, I carry everywhere - including stores, flea markets, gun shows, gas stations, movies, skate park, malls, church, literally everywhere. Sure, the weapon may be small (P3AT) that I can take everywhere, but it is a weapon nonetheless. At other times, when appropriate, I carry the "big gun" which is probably about 1/3 of the time. A minimum of one weapon at all times, two weapons on occasion, not to mention the off body carry in the dayplanner, or backpack, as well as the weapon in the vehicle.

I realize different states have different laws, but if you're at Apu's Kwik-Mart when the bad guy puts a gun in your face, are you going to be happy that you complied with the store policy of "no guns"?? After all, you followed the rules.... too bad the bad guy didn't follow the rules.

im a college student, and work with special needs children for a living. SO, I still manage to carry as much as I can. If I cannot, a flash light and a knife will suffice for where I am at.

I dont carry to class, but if I have to be on campus limits for other things, i do not disarm.

"I never carry"

In the 8 months that I've had my permit I've only carried a handfull of times, and not because I needed too.

I can't carry at work.  It's considered a DoD building and we are subject to searches at their discretion.

I carry 99.9% of the rest of the time I am not at work -- to include carrying in my house.

I'm always amused by this comment.  How do you know when you'll "need" it?  Are you psychic?  Are you Miss Cleo?

I carry because I don't know if I'll need it or not.  If I KNEW I was going to need it, I would call the cops and not leave my house.  It's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

PS I carry 24/7, except at work.  Can't carry in a public school.

I carry 24/7 except the following places:

While sleeping
At a bar (Not very often)
While at work (Gun stays in my office)
The obvious .gov places where you aren't supposed to carry

I always have a gun in reach at home.
I always have a gun in reach in my truck.
I don't have a gun in church(illegal), but a gun is in my truck.
I don't usually carry at work, but a gun is in my truck.
I almost always carry when going other places, shopping, movies, walking, ect.

If I was taking public transit I would want to carry more than ever! I used to ride one of the main lines in Denver and the people on that bus were very scary, especially the ugly transvestites.

I carry more often than not.  Here in Iraq I am always armed.  I carry at my civilian job also.  Depends what I am doing while not at work whether or not I do.
