How else are they supposed to start mowing lawns and shoveling snow when theyr'e 5 years old? Kids have to earn their keep somehow. |

Chuck Norris was walking immediatly after birth. Chuck scoffs at your childrens walking abilities.
just messing with you. my niece recently started walking at abou 10-11 months. its a beautiful thing seeing them grow. ban walking, for the children!

Right at 11-12 months for the first two...None crawled...#3 just turned 10 months and he starting to pull up..looks like he will be about the same.

I miss that stage, but now that I got my boy learning how to clean up and put stuff away, I think I can learn to accept his mobility. I am just waiting till he is tall enough to start doing dishes. |

I miss having my boy fall asleep on my shoulder. Good days. He is three, and learning how to swim properly this year. I like talking with him as much as the dependent helplessness.

15 mos.
He was (and still is) in the 90 percentile for both height and weight. I think that had something to do with the late start. <----- That's him right there.  |

One at 10 months, another 9 months, one 8 months, and my younger son, 6 months flat. I mean walking, not touching anything and not falling down. Walking across the room.
He pulled up on the doorjam between the kitchen and living room. My wife walked by with a bottle in her hand, and he was hungry. He let go and went after that bottle. A few days later he was in for his 6 month checkup. The doctor asks, is he crawling yet? My wife says, crawling? No, he skipped that, went straight to walking. The doctor gave a little smirk. She put the kid down on the floor and he walked around. The doc's jaw dropped. |

My son started walking or the first time at 7 1/2 months. Now if he doesn't slow his truck down he will start walking again at 16 1/2 years...

About 9 and 12 months.
It's amazing to watch them go from helpless to unstoppable in about 2 weeks. |
