I was 17 1/2 and just finished High School and my parents signed for me.
Went USAF as I always liked airplanes.  I've been working in the air transportation
industry for over 36 years. Still like airplanes....hehe...

Left for boot camp 2 days after I graduated.

I went Army, parents signed for me at 17. Was in basic at 18. Celebrated my 19th b-day in Germany. I turn 40 this summer.

I graduated early from high school.  Went to Parris Island 3 days later.  Turned 18 on a 10 mile hump at Camp Lejune...I think it was a 10 mile hump.  Don't remember exactly.

DEP when i was 16 and enlisted when i was 17.

This occurred becuase i graduated high school a year early and started 1st grade early.

What can i say; i have always been a go go go cant wait for a damn thing kinda guy.

17 years plus 28 days, though I did 7 months in DEP.  I did Basic Training, AIT, a two years in Germany, and I still couldn't drink (legally) when I came back to the States.

I turned 17 on Saturday, was at MEPs on Monday, graduated from high school 7 months later, on a Friday...left for Benning on Monday.  That was the Guard.  I went Active 1.5 years later (right after I turned 19)

25- I listened to my recruiter when he told me to start running at the local track. When we did our PT test at the end of BMTS at Lackland I drug an 18 y/o the last lap and a half on the track. Dumbass flunked outta tech school anyway 3 weeks later.
