Just started watching this movie for the first time in years and saw the most bullshit excuse for a futuristic firearm that I have ever seen. The scene is when snake first meets the head honcho cop and the guards are carrying M-16's with no handguards. WTF, Is that supposed to be the  creative ingenuity of Hollywood in 1981.

That's not near as bad as Snake Pliskin's mac-10 with a bushnell rifle scope and silencer. Still, it's a cool movie.
