the 2002 Petersen Publishing "HUNTING" Annual has the .338 ballistics you're looking for. I checked it out last night. I'm sticking with the .338 Win.Mag. that I've got. I forgot to mention in my other post about the .338's that another reason I didn't go the BAR route was the weight of that rifle, plus, the fact that the gas system didn't afford me the option of using the enhanced power ammo. Now, the BAR comes in a "Stalker" model; all matte black---my favorite color for guns---and the BOSS/CR options as well... Figures. Mine is a 7mm Rem.Mag.BOSS model. It'll be my nice rifle to doll up and benchshoot. |
